Community-driven campaign to protect and revive Jharkhand's rivers and water bodies from pollution and encroachment.
Rivers are the lifeline of Jharkhand, but rapid urbanization, industrial pollution, and encroachment have threatened their existence. AAM's Save River Campaign mobilizes communities along riverbanks to become guardians of their water bodies. The campaign includes river cleanup drives, awareness programs about water pollution, advocacy against industrial discharge into rivers, and efforts to remove illegal encroachments from riverfront areas. We work with local gram panchayats, municipal authorities, and environmental experts to develop sustainable river management plans that balance ecological preservation with community needs.
