Our Story
A movement born from love for the land, driven by the energy of Jharkhand's youth, and dedicated to Jal, Jungle, and Zameen.
A story that begins with Jharkhand
Jharkhand is not just where we work. It is home.
Since the formation of the state in 2000, we have witnessed its journey closely. We have seen its cities grow, its communities change and its Jal, Jungle and Zameen face new challenges.
These changes made us think about the Jharkhand we are living in today and the Jharkhand we will leave behind for those who come after us.
We wanted to do something about it.
That thought led to the beginning of Abua Adhikar Manch.
Why Youth
We are a team of young people, and we believe that young people can be one of the strongest forces for positive change.
Youth bring energy, ideas and the courage to question what can be better. We also understand the aspirations of our generation because we are part of it.
AAM was created with the idea of bringing young people together and giving that energy a direction through awareness, participation and action.

Our Journey
Our work has taken us to colleges, communities, public spaces and environmental programmes. From creating conversations around environmental issues to standing up for trees, organising campaigns and bringing young people together, every initiative has been a step in the same direction.
